gloss moderne - coco de soleil.
Let me first start by saying how happy I am to be part of the Julius & Valentina team! Growing up with a family focused on health and wellness (my mom is a naturopath), it was truly important for me to incorporate those values and beliefs into my career, hairdressing... my passion. I've always leaned towards using natural products on my skin, my hair and to a certain extend, my food.
I don't believe in extremes. I don't believe in crash diets, nor do I think that it's plausible to live 100% natural with everything around us. I do believe however in finding a middle ground and taking steps towards using the least amount of toxic chemicals in our everyday lives. You can only imagine how excited I was to start testing natural products and review for you (thanks Ariane)!
To begin this testing journey with the Julius & Valentina team, I gave Gloss Moderne a try. Made without sulfates, parabens or sodium, this line's coconutty smell only reminded me of my last vacation by the beach! Not a bad way to start!
HIGH GLOSS SHAMPOO: Smells divine! Sweet but not overpowering. It create a nice lather and cleanses hair thoroughly.
HIGH GLOSS CONDITIONER: Hydrated my hair while leaving them beyond shiny! Also helped reduce frizz.
HIGH GLOSS MASQUE: Leave it in for 5 minutes if you wish to get silky soft hair on top of that extra TLC it provides.
My hair was most definitely softer and shinier once dried! After having tried theproducts, I can honestly say that Gloss Moderne is my new favorite line. And the fact that it contains fewer chemicals is pretty awesome. Having curling hair myself, it's sometimes very difficult for me to find products that truly hydrate. I have often been let down by false promises from other brands, but this time, dear readers, I can't stress enough about how wonderful Gloss Moderne is. They smell dreamy, the actually work, the packaging is simply stunning and made without any of the bad chemicals... what else can a girl ask for? Ok, maybe an actually vacation by the beach wouldn't hurt.
